What to expect

What to expect on the day.

  1. 1

    Before

    A form before you arrive

Upon booking, you will be sent a form to complete with some basic information about why you are coming along.

  2. 2

    On arrival

    Meet and greet

After an initial meet and greet, a body-awareness self-regulation exercise prepares you for working with the horses.

  3. 3

    The session

    The horses lead the way

The work is in an outdoor arena with the horses at liberty. It may include observing, meeting, grooming, working with the herd, task-oriented work or leading.

  4. 4

    Close

    Feedback, then gratitude

The session leaves time to integrate the work via feedback and questions, then closes by showing gratitude to the horses.

Why it works

A tailored session plan

Sessions may include observation, grooming, leading or other tasks, then time to talk through what happened.
